Position Summary:
The Loans Clerk is an integral support role within the First Peoples Economic Growth Fund (FPEGF) team,
focused on assisting with administrative tasks that keep loan processes running smoothly. Reporting to the
Loans Administrator, the Loans Clerk will handle filing, scanning, data entry, and reception tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Scan, photocopy, and file documents for client records and internal use.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and hardcopy filing systems to ensure all documentation is logged accurately and up to date.
- Prepare documents, forms, and spreadsheets as required.
- Manage incoming mail, emails, and faxes, ensuring prompt delivery to the appropriate team member.
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
- Additional tasks as required.
Client and Office Support
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and respect, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer general inquiries and direct calls or messages to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including common areas such as the kitchen and storage rooms.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a moderate-paced office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Respect for confidentiality and professional conduct in handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role (1–2 years).
- Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and printers.
- Understanding of or experience with First Nations communities and organizations is an asset.
